How can I change the sync interval on SwiftKey for Android

8th January 2016

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the first Tips & Tricks of 2016! We’re kicking off this new year with a tip about changing how often you want SwiftKey to backup & sync your language model.

By default, SwiftKey is set to sync daily, which is what I personally like to keep my setting at because I like having my language model as up to date as possible. You also have the option to sync on a weekly basis.

To change this setting:

  1. Go into SwiftKey Settings
  2. Account
  3. Backup & Sync
  4. Tap on Sync frequency
  5. Change it to the frequency that works for you

…and that’s it. Just like that, you can change your sync interval on SwiftKey from daily to weekly or vice versa.

What do you have your sync frequency set to? Let us know on Twitter! You can also read more about Backup & Sync here.
