How can I preview themes I’ve downloaded before switching?

Hi everyone,

Welcome to this week’s installment of SwiftKey Keyboard Tips & Tricks! With the recent release of SwiftKey 6.0 for Android, we have some new tricks to share.

Have you ever been searching through your downloaded themes and wanted to see a live preview of a theme before deciding that’s the one you want to use?

With SwiftKey 6.0 and the revamp to the Settings menu, you can now do this!

To get started:

  1. Open up SwiftKey Settings
  2. Select ‘Themes’
  3. Look for the theme you want to use in the Themes area
  4. Tap to select it
  5. Hit the FAB (floating action button) in the bottom right corner to launch the preview
  6. A live preview will pop up
