Welcome to this week’s installment of SwiftKey Keyboard Tips & Tricks, geared towards our iPhone & iPad users.
On Tuesday, our latest update to SwiftKey for iPhone & iPad brought you 180+ new emoji from iOS 9.1 – yay for tacos and unicorns! To help you navigate these new emoji easily, we wanted to show you how to access the different skin tone emoji, a feature that Apple added in iOS 8.
To get started, make sure you are at least running version 9.1 of SwiftKey for iOS:
- Press and hold the smiley face and drag your finger over to emoji
- Find the emoji you wish to use
- Press and hold on that emoji to gain access to the different skin tone options
- Select the emoji you wish to insert
Note: This feature is not supported across all emoji
