SwiftKey Keyboard Contest and Giveaway

15th October 2014

Hi everyone,

Calling all aspiring emoji artists!

We’re excited to announce an exciting contest and giveaway for all SwiftKey users! As you know, SwiftKey Keyboard learns from you, giving you a fast and easy way to tell your story.

Now, we’re asking you to tell us a story – the plot of your favorite movie, a line from your favorite song, or even story from your own life – using emoji, and as few words as possible. Be creative, be funny, but most importantly, be original. Type out your masterpiece, snap a screenshot showing your SwiftKey Keyboard and tweet it to @SwiftKey or post it to Instagram with the hashtag #SKstory. Don’t forget to follow us and tag @SwiftKey!

SwiftKey’s founders, Jon and Ben, will pick their favorite entries, so the more original and unique, the better! Two people will win an Android device of their choice worth up to $700, and ten runners-up will get their choice of some exclusive SwiftKey swag: SwiftKey t-shirts (sizes S-XL) or SwiftKey tote bags. We’ll share some of the entries along the way and announce the winners on October 29, so stay tuned.

SwiftKey Keyboard for Android supports 800+ emoji and also predicts the emoji you use most often. For our iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users, use the iOS system emoji for the contest, then tap the globe icon on your keyboard until you see the SwiftKey Keyboard (so it shows in your screenshot).

We can’t wait to follow along on #SKstory and see you tell your story!

Did you know SwiftKey Keyboard also includes emoji predictions? This means when you start typing a word, like ‘pizza’, it will predict the relevant image for you, right there in the candidate bar, making all your messages and notes even more fun and expressive! You can find out how to switch this feature on in this short FAQ or in the how-to video below.

A question, but if I win the first prize and choose a phone that in my state it costs more than $ 700?
For example if I want a Nexus 6 and I live in Italy. In Italy it cost €699 but in USA it cost $699…
    I could receive it anyway?
